I would absolutely love a Djokovic Vs Alcaraz final and Carlitos winning the final. I love the irony because if this happens Carlitos would beat Zverev and Djokovic the two players who knocked him out in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

did i miss something? why is the 1 seed playing the 3 and the 2 seed playing the 4? shouldn’t brackets be constructed to where if everyone wins according to the seeding then the 1 will play the 4 and the 2 will play the 3 in the semis?

It’s so impressive what Novak is doing at his age. This his 5th consecutive semifinal GS appearance
His A game is better than Sinner or Alcaraz. No argument there. The problem is he hasn’t had his A game in 2 years and against Sinner, he is outmatched and out gunned. To win will take luck just like against Musetti
I don’t think he’ll win a set against Sinner. Maybe if sinner is a little off or nervous, Novak could squeak out a tiebreak in the 1st set but sorry, Novak just doesn’t have the weapons or the stamina to go 4-5 hours anymore
