There’s no abuser without a group of enablers. This was so avoidable if it wasn’t for this monster’s friends. Shame on them. The pub woman can’t even pretend she’s upset about this innocent girl. “Maybe it was because of the age difference?”, she says with that stupid smirk. Rest in peace beautiful girl.
The friends and family, including her father, killed this poor young woman. Clair was a victim of everyone. Shame in you, i hope that you live with the guilt for the rest of your pathetic lives. You are all coweds and guilty.
The idea to stay together over Christmas is really stupid. Better to separate as soon as possible. Christmas would not be a happy one anyway. The marriage is already miserable, why would the husband suddenly shape up for the holidays? When an abusive husband says he is going to kill his wife they should take him seriously. Nobody normal talks like that, especially when under the influence. People can be extremely dense.
In the USA, if anyone heard someone say ( a threat) and did not report it to the police, they would be convicted of participating in the crime
