Safin is an absolute GOAT. He was one of my favorite players in the early to mid 2000s.

I find it bizarre how Trace can’t see the bigger picture here. If Safin has been open about mental and emotional struggles, I think he probably understands quite well how Rublev is feeling and can help him see past that to play better tennis. It’s kind of strange how much reservation she has here. I’m rooting for the duo! Safin x Rublev, LET’S GO!!
