As this videp starts it shows the seas. Hige swells. Very dangerous especially to a ship whos engines fail
Franks wife. Good loving woman and human being. She turned her tragedy into a good positive thing.
OMG what horror ! bless the men & women of El Faro
When it comes to civilians joining a merchant ship; I feel that there should be a regimented training program as civilians are required to do if they commit to serve their country. Great Lakes as well. This generation is changing and a lot of them are actually pretty smart. Diversity training and social skills regarding diversity. My opinion.. this profession and the people drawn to it are truly meant for it. Up to it??? I wish I were 20 years younger 🤦♀️ my opinion don’t hate me.
Great job, this video was very useful!
The crew should have committed mutiny and threw the captain over board.
Just like the Costa Concordia, the captain called the company first instead of the local coast guard. If you ever think a company is going to hold your safety at a higher priority than profit, think again. When your life is in danger, call the people who dedicate their lives to saving yours.
Hello guys
Isnt there some live ship tracker HQ in many countries that could have also seen this ship heading for doom and intervened?
This episode from National Geographic is a true documentary masterpiece, offering profound human and educational value! 🚢💔 Unraveling the El Faro tragedy serves not only as a priceless lesson in maritime safety but also as a beautiful tribute to the crew’s bravery. I was deeply moved at [17:06] when the wreckage appeared standing upright on the ocean floor, looking like a haunting ghost ship. Furthermore, the segment at [26:54] detailing Second Mate Danielle’s helpless laughter over the captain’s stubborn course orders offers a vital, real-world lesson on crew dynamics and hierarchy at sea. 🌊 Thank you for delivering such high-quality and respectful investigative journalism. Liked and subscribed! 🚀✨
