That’s the longest 10 minute break requested by the judge I’ve ever seen.

1:28:57: Judge says he’ll call the jury back in in probably about 10 minutes

    4:39:35: Video resumes

Is it court tv that failed to start recording again until 3 hours later? It would be great if they could record the judge announcing they’re breaking for lunch instead of no notice whatsoever. Happens several times where we can assume the judge adjourned court for the day but all we get is silence. Y’all do better please.

I keep asking myself. How did he get in contact with the girl? I’m having a hard time understanding how he knew there was a child in the house.

It’s so weird and disturbing watching the murderer driving around while loads of people are out looking for Athena. I’m so glad that none of his ploys (I have mental disabilities…I was bullied…I have lead in my bones…blah blah blah), to avoid responsibility, worked. First of all, his behavior in the truck is perfectly normal. And secondly, even if he had been bullied or has mental health issues, there is help for Those who seek it. I agree that he’s sick, but that’s no excuse for what he did. The depth of cruelty and heartlessness is inexcusable.
