Tanner Horner pleaded guilty to the capital murder of 7-year-old Athena Strand just as his trial was set to begin. The jury will now skip the guilt phase and move to the penalty phase to decide between life without parole or the death penalty.

Lies! ALL of his previous drs, counselors, teachers etc ALL said they never saw the mother or maybe once twice. She was never involved.
This is PAINFUL to watch! And not even for the reasons you would think the murder trial for a 7 yr old girl would be painful. The defense attorney is struggling to come up with nonsense pointless questions to ask.
I really hope the prosecution acknowledges how ridiculous and pointless ( and costly) the defense’s entire presentation was!!!
I’m sick of hearing their droning voices. Unfortunately I feel the need to listen to the whole trial bc I can’t complain about anything I didn’t hear but it’s giving me an earache.
Why haven’t they called Cassie to testify? The person he lived with, had a child with….wouldn’t she know him better than any dr or family member? My guess is bc whatever she has to say wouldn’t not be helpful to his case. Just keep showing those stupid childhood photos 😏

I’m still catching up on the trial. Has it been proven that he actually r*aped her? I’ve been hearing conflicting information. POS either way!
He SA’d her – oral etc. It was proven. There was no penetration but it was still an SA. He jacked off on her body and it was found on her genital area.
So we’ve spent 5 days sitting through lectures on autism. Why? This has nothing to do with his crime. They talk all about but when asked by the prosecutor is autism made him do it, they admit “no”. I never want to hear the word “spectrum” ever again.
I hope the defense realizes that their disgraceful display of experts and “aww, poor little Tanner” has had the OPPOSITE affect on the jurors, making them even _more_ disgusted with him and (thanks to the defense) will probably give him DEATH.
