TUPAC TRIAL LIVE: Watch Day 9 of the trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is accused of orchestrating the 1996 drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur, live from Las Vegas court. Davis is charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon with intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.
The trial is expected to last about a month. Prosecutors accuse Davis of ordering the fatal shooting as retaliation for a brawl that broke out on a casino floor shortly before Shakur was killed. Authorities have also pointed to comments Davis made in several media interviews as evidence of his alleged involvement in the killing.
Among the 200 potential witnesses in the case are some notable names, including:
Marion “Suge” Knight – Former Death Row Records CEO who was in the car when Shakur was shot
Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman
Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, who served in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the time of the murder
Former LAPD Detective Greg Kading, who claims Davis confessed to his involvement during a 2009 interview with law enforcement
Yusef Jah, the ghostwriter for Davis in his memoir

@MichaelDouglasCarlin Today was the only win I saw for keefe. But i think the jury sees through the defense strategy. Dude had confessions… newspaper clippings.. books… interviews… and you know all of the juriors either love 2pac or know who he was… keefes going down for this.

This Defence Attorney just proved the case for the prosecution with the third witness, that indeed there was a lawyer present during the confession. That’s enough for conviction. Whether he was trying to save himself from an impending life imprisonment or not, a lawyer represents independent but factual witness during a confession solidifying the fact that the suspect was not compelled to make the statement and he made it on his own volition.

Apart from Keefe saying he was in the car, there’s zero evidence to prove it. This could go either way.
