The trial against former college football player Blaise Taylor is set to begin after he was returned to Nashville from Utah to face two counts of first-degree murder. Prosecutors allege Taylor secretly poisoned his pregnant girlfriend, Jade Benning, at her apartment in February 2023, causing the deaths of both Benning and her five-month-old fetus, whom authorities say Taylor fathered. If convicted, Taylor could face life in prison, life without parole, or potentially the death penalty under Tennessee law.

This is very circumstantial. Saying he wanted this two month gf to get an abortion doesnt mean a murderer, plus she used unprotection with other men. He moved out of state? My god, everybody called him a murderer, looks like he handled stress very well.

The Defense has proven that she had drugs in her urine prior to being given any dose of fentanyl in the hospital. There is plenty of reasonable doubt. She was getting drugs for other people same day as her dying? You can’t just convict him with that type of evidence.

Idk how anyone could say he’s guilty. Theres absolutely no evidence without a reasonable doubt that he poisoned her. None. The ME said the fetus liver tested positive for cocaine. I wish the defense would’ve asked her how long it would take for cocaine to reach the liver of a fetus!

I would question her “previous” drug dealer & the BFF more! She took adderall or something & she got a bad pill! Why her BFF just stop by like that for some pasta? They brought her something! And it was a bad dose. No evidence to prove he did this. Crazy

The defense should do a class in law school on how to look like an idiot that’s trying to muddy the waters with shady mess
