Dr. Gerhardt Konig, an anesthesiologist from Maui, is accused of attempting to kill his wife while the two were on a hike in Honolulu. According to investigators, Dr. Konig allegedly pushed his wife toward a cliff, tried to inject her with a syringe, and struck her repeatedly with a lava rock. Konig pleaded not guilty and faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder. If convicted, he could face life in prison.

Defense is using distraction as a manipulation tool. He is focusing upon insignificant details to divert attention. It’s clear the “emotional affair” was exaggerated. It bruised his ego. Abusers play extreme victim, triangulate to isolate and shame as to why he informed their friends, used guilt and control by checking her electronics/cell and request her to resign from work. The more the defense spoke of it just fuels motive which doesn’t help his client. (self-help books and therapists don’t always provide sustainable advice)

The police officer having to give his weight is irrelevant!! He had to use force it’s his job. They wouldn’t ask a skinny officer his weight would they! Felt sorry for him having to reveal that to the nation.

Should’ve ruled in favor of defended for the ‘labeling Problem’ entirely. Defense produced it so lets be fair, call it what it is first of all. Especially after deadlines expired to admit it as state exhibit. Defense did that.
It wasn’t used as impeachment, Has no foundation yet. lots of problems. Might have been admissible if state didn’t sleep on it. State can’t open the door with defense exhibits alone if defense didn’t open the door with a witness
Still not sure with this one. If she got hit more than 2 times, with that rock, from above.. She would be very dead. Injuries match defense and the whole divorce and the money involved stinks.
