Heat map shows temperatures across Europe as large parts of Western Europe are in the grip of a deadly early summer heatwave that has killed dozens, disrupted power supplies, and shut schools and cultural landmarks.
Temperatures hit 104F in parts of Europe on June 28 as storms moved into other areas, with France reporting 1,000 excess deaths during the record-breaking heatwave.
