South Florida developer George Pino is charged with vessel homicide and manslaughter in a 2022 boat crash that killed 17-year-old Lucy Fernandez and left another teen permanently disabled. Prosecutors allege Pino was operating the boat when it slammed into a channel marker near Boca Chita Key, while the defense argues the crash was a tragic accident and that there is insufficient evidence to support the charges. Pino reportedly admitted drinking two beers and claimed another boat contributed to the crash. He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

Is it really necessary for this case to have those photos of her after she passed..I just don’t know if I would want to see that as a jury member..
the medical examiner should have prepped its awful he didn’t even know her name?
he gave the reason.
The state hasn’t proven ISH!
Oh wow! They cleaned up the junk behind the witness stand!
I feel everybody’s pain. Rest in peace this poor child. I can’t even imagine how this family will get over this trade by and if it was my child I would feel the same and want justice. This was an accident.! An absolute tragedy.
What a waste of taxpayer money this is a civil court problem not a criminal court problem…
The civil side and criminal side are separate tracks. Financial compensation to the victims’ families may resolve the civil disputes, but it does not automatically end or dismiss the criminal case.
Why did they move him to the end of the table?
