Rex Heuermann, the man who admitted to murdering eight women in a 17-year killing spree linked to the Gilgo Beach serial killings, is set to be sentenced Wednesday. Heuermann pleaded guilty to killing the women, admitting he strangled several of his victims whose remains were found near Gilgo Beach and elsewhere on Long Island. Under his plea deal, the 62-year-old agreed to serve multiple consecutive life sentences and will spend the rest of his life in prison.

I actually just finished reading “The Lost Girls”, written about the Long Island murders. Why did it take so long to capture this cold-blooded killer? He got away with this for 30-years? Seriously?

This was so horrific I cried so hard. I felt so bad and Amanda Melissa Bartholomew‘s little sister, the brave and courageous thing how she got up there and knowing that the man that hurt, her sister was just a few feet away from her. I don’t know how she did it. I would’ve been lunged onto that man and I would’ve started wailing on him. I would’ve been able to keep my composure all you beautiful women out there that were hurt by this man. I’m so sorry you didn’t deserve that you didn’t deserve that at all may your soul rest in peace. Heaven holds the faith of you part God bless.🙏♥️💫✨🌈💋
