Karmelo Anthony, 19, is currently on trial in the death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. The teens were attending a regional track meet in Frisco, Texas, when Metcalf reportedly told Anthony to leave their team’s tent. Prosecutors allege the confrontation escalated, leading Anthony to stab Metcalf in the chest with a knife before later turning himself in to authorities. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder and is being tried as an adult. He has pleaded not guilty and claims he acted in self-defense. If convicted, he faces five to 99 years in prison.

The host is such a loser
This episode of court TV is another reason everyone is switching to YouTube attorneys. We want unbiased coverage, not pandering the the mob you’re most afraid of. Not having cameras in the court wasn’t helpful, but from what coverage there was, it sounds like even the defense witnesses admitted Karmelo was at fault. This wasn’t a shocking verdict at all.
I can’t listen to these people. The gasping and clutching of pearls is RIDICULOUS! 🙄🙄
