A U.S. Army soldier is headed to trial for allegedly killing his wife at their Alaska apartment in August 2023. Saria Barney disappeared on a Sunday morning just hours after celebrating her husband Zarrius’s 21st birthday. What began as a frantic, days-long missing persons search involving Saria’s mother and a seemingly distraught husband quickly took a sinister turn. Detectives tracking a digital and physical trail of clues uncovered damning evidence showing the young combat medic never made it out of her own apartment. Zarrius Hildabrand now faces trial for Saria’s murder. Stream the entire trial live on Court TV.

😱 It’s so idiotic & annoying that the defence attorney asks every single prosecution witness, including the 911 call operator, ” so you were not in the apartment on August 6th 2023 at 2.47am” & “so you were not able to see the person who pulled the trigger of the gun that killed Saria hilderbrand, were you”. I wonder if it’s annoying the jury as well 🤔

That is exactly what I said. The only logical thing I can think of is the consistent reference to pushing reasonable doubt. Not logical in most minds, but maybe hers. Makes no sense and it’s having the exact opposite effect with the witness’s surprised response at the question.

Ikr! 😅 The 911 call operator, when she asked her those questions, looked at her like wtf! 😁😆😂🤣🤣

This defense lawyer reminds me of Elle in Legally Blonde when she was unsure of what to ask, what to do and how to do it. And her vocal fry is…well…enough already.
