One Christmas we gave our daughter a play kitchen, a battery powered ride on toy Jeep, a toy tool set with workbench and a baby doll. We wanted to raise our child into what would be (and is) a well rounded capable adult.
When he is older he is going to be embarrassed
PLAY is the work of children! We MUST facilitate ALL children PLAYING rather than the ridiculous skill and drill nonsense we do to them – especially in early childhood and elementary years.
Best mom ever!😊
Absolutely fantastic!
I worked at a daycare for many years and boys and girls all enjoyed the dolls, the trucks, the dinosaurs, all toys. The boys wore aprons in the play kitchen and cooked for their children and pets. It was nice to see boys take baby dolls on walks in strollers, around the classroom. This was in the 1990’s mind you.
Fathers also take care of their children so it is natural for a boy to want to play act as a parent.
