There’s not enough emphasis on how important this game is to the Bills as the new stadium opener. The “cursed” narrative was too strong with the previous stadium – an opening game loss in the new stadium has the potential to feed into that narrative and set a negative tone for the rest of the season. Abosultely crucial win. Infinitely more so than for the Lions.
