Commentators keep acting as if Tuchel made those substitutions right after Gordon scored. In reality it was 17 minutes later that he subbed off Gordon, and then in the 82nd minute (almost half an hour after England scored their goal) that two more defensive players, players who should in theory have had fresh legs, were brought in.

The media (and FIFA) worship of Messi is just sickening…it is like VARgentina does not have other players. One of Messi’s two assists was a simple pass outside the box…the type of pass made all game long by everyone. The cross for the second goal was good, but was it “miraculous”? Hardly…Messi is an offensive force, but his work ethic, defensive play and penalty kicks are sub-par. FIFA, the refs, and VAR love Messi and will do everything in their power to make sure he comes out on top. It’s pathetic.The Messi worship needs to stop.

When england went way back at the bottom after scoring it looked like a movie.suddendly the whole team was all guttered at the back,it was clear on tv.thats when argentina changed.they realized england was scared and went full on with all they had.
