After two days of deliberations, jurors in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial were sent home without a verdict on Friday afternoon and instructed to return Monday morning.
Before dismissing the jury for the weekend, the judge cautioned members not to discuss the case with anyone or seek out information about the trial from outside sources.
The jury previously asked to review prescription pill bottles and the knife used during Clancy’s suicide attempt.
Clancy faces three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of her children, Cora, Dawson and Callan. She does not dispute killing them but says she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.

She made a choice to kill her three children she needs to be punished for that .

I think this is a rare situation where she needs help. A jail sentence in not the right thing here.
To throw her back into a government run or severely broken mental health / medical system with nothing nut revolving g doors , red tape and more medication nightmares worse than a DP sentence! Hope the awareness on the mental health and broken systems get more attention because it’s horribly broken

Did anyone ever address how her core body temperature dropped to 82° in “15 minutes”? She froze faster than a corpse would’ve.
@Deinochaos yes. It was because her fall led to spinal cord injury thus her body wasn’t able to regulate temperature. Also, blood loss and shock contributed
@arceiah The spine doesn’t regulate temperature, the hypothalamus does. It’s in the brain. That doesn’t make sense either, because even if the “internal heating” is shut off (the hypothalamus) and she was sitting in the snow, it would still take much longer than 15 minutes to lose 16 degrees of body heat. Dead bodies in the snow don’t cool that fast.
@Deinochaosthe spinal cord Injury severed her lower body’s connection to the hypothalamus that’s what I meant. As she was on the snow and with wet clothing, her body temperature dropped even further. That’s the explanation given in court by the doctor
@arceiah The only evidence I found that a spinal injury would interfere with temperature is the inability to shiver and constrict blood vessels. But it was above freezing that day (36-40°) and worse cases of fatal hemorrhage in worse conditions (avalanche) only resulted in 7°F lost every hour. Just because somebody is paid for their expert testimony doesn’t mean they’re doing much more than making an educated guess about how something *might* have happened. They cannot tell us “This is exactly how it happened”, otherwise we wouldn’t need several expert witnesses with the same qualifications and different opinions.
I’m just saying, it doesn’t make sense that she was able to get SO cold, but her son was so recently strangled that he was able to be partially revived.
Blood on the basement door handle and blood droplets on the basement floor makes no sense.
None of her DNA on the murder weapon, only the kid’s and her husband’s DNA makes no sense.
I think her confession is unreliable. Comatose people are very suggestable. The only thing blocking reasonable doubt is a shaky post-coma confession and heresay.

So are we at the point that a predictor test is required for women prone to have this condition to prevent Killing babies, becuz a mom being overwhelmed is never justified! You just don’t go psychotic cuz your hormones are a bit out of wack! maybe was already destined to be psycho but don’t put this our our reproductive systems!! And what kind of man forgives the wife murdering his babies? How can she live w herself and then what! Who tells her she can’t hve anymore babies?
She chased her 4 year old boy down and strangled him after he ran. WHY the trial?
Why would they find her guilty, women have been murdering their children for decades, millions terminated with NO CONSEQUENCES!!!!!
