The way the ATP has been hyping Fonseca is over the top – probably in an effort to compensate for revenue losses due to Sinner ban and also distract from it. Fonseca is a huge talent but there’s other guys only one year older who are doing amazing things and they don’t get this kinda hype. Weird.
It’s because of his charisma and champion aura. This sells a lot. The most of tennis players are super boring, especially Sinner.
