Astronomers have found a pair of black hole jets, known as Porphyrion, as long as 140 Milky Way galaxies lined up back-to-back.

hey man, can you make a video about the biggest known galaxy
Fascinating
Hearing the voice of Explore With Us narrating the wonders of the universe is not what I was expecting to discover this morning. But I am 100% here for it.
It seems everyday a new discovery is made which surpasses the previous discovery by a significant amount. I can only imagine the discoveries made when the next generation telescope replaces the JWST.
Plasma jet ( Blavk hole taking a dump)
How fucking dense must that blackhole be to spit out jets that wide? how is it consuming so much matter so quickly?
A black hole swallowing matter and emitting matter is both the Big Bang and the Big Crunch occurring cyclically for trillions of years in this evolving universe.
Unfortunately, they have a ridiculous explanation for the jets. The jets are not coming from the outside, but from the core. The whole mechanism is pretty straightforward and easily explained with existing phenomena right here on Earth. No need for any mathemagical singularities.
That’s a long fart
