Been a long time I’m not sure if you remember me we met at Java joes in San Diego , there were so many people that came to see that night the fire Marshall end up shutting it down everyone went to the parking lot to see if you’re gonna play outside. I know you wanted to, but can’t remember if you did because it was so windy outside. I remember walking with you to your suv and How beautiful you were standing in the doorway of your vehicle and we had a moment and I was lost init not wanting to pull away… as the crowd was behind me and all around your car but before you had to leave I told you that I had put a poem for you and that I had managed to put it in your guitar case…. I never forgot all these years later that moment in time with you beautiful…. I know it’s silly for me to.Think you would remember I A surfer from San Diego that was working that night for free at Java Joes to see you play that night ! You were playing tribute to Joe because you had sung there in past that’s what the girl told me, that had spot upstairs. Selling incense and cool stuff I thought you might remember her. From that night….. I couldn’t sleep so I was listening to music from the 80s and 90s and came across some of your music. Remind me of that night a lifetime ago! David
