Kate del Castillo, who played Mousey, should have won the Best Actress Oscar. The script was great. The directing was superb. Who knew jail could be so much fun!

I did time with Mousie in Susanville Prison back in 1989.
In 2002 I was selling heroin in downtown LA and ‘Mousie’ would come by every day. One day, she said,”you don’t recognize me? I’m Mousie from Clanton, we were in the ‘ville back in the 80’s.” And walked off.
I was like. . .”you changed essay!”, laughing. NOTHING is surprising in LA.
