Nancy consider this timeline. I am an ER/TRAUMA nurse just for basis regarding medical knowledge.
Patrick “claims” his timeline is 515p to 605p return.
515 – Lindsey crushes up a bunch of pills. Makes a pyschiatric cocktail. Cleans up the mess she made from crushing them. (7 minutes)
522 – all three children (20 minutes based off size, weapon)
542 – Makes call to Patrick. Pretend everything is perfectly fine after what she just did….
543 – Begins to mutilate herself with a butcher knife. Wonders all over the room. Splatters blood on the mirror. Moves a giant bed catty corner and gets another pile of blood in the corner behind it. Neatly sets the knife down on the table (and mysteriously doesnt leave a fingerprint on the handle) and places her Apple Watch in the drawer. (At the very LEAST) 10 minutes
553 – Finally decides that she should jump from window but somehow Spiderman it down the side of the house out the window (i saw the awkward blood smears on the exterior house and it is shocking to say the least)
605 Patrick arrives and finds her laying in the snow but somehow manages to talk with all her extensive injuries, brain hemorrhage (evidenced by the CSF leak she had), crushed thyroid, transacted thoracic spine, fractured cervical spine, chest trauma aka pleural effusion (evidenced by chest tubes with 300cc fluid removed), fractured ribs, and paralyzed.
So that leaves 13 MINUTES for her body temperature to sky rocket down to 82. Let me just say this I don’t even remember the last time I got a patient in the trauma bay with a 82F temp. Its IMPOSSIBLE even with her injuries for it to skyrocket down – it is a slow gradual decline because the body losing the ability to regulate the temp. 13 minutes is IMPOSSIBLE and even 30 is impossible.
But then Im even more shocked by what I see. I notice in the crime scene photo there is hardly any blood in the snow. She bled out everywhere in the room. SO WHY is it not in the snow. She had a 3mm deep laceration – it would take AT THE VERY LEAST 15 to 20 minutes probably MORE to stop bleeding on its own. She obviously didnt apply pressure. So she had to have been in that room LONGER before she went out that window.
