The US presented a one-page memorandum of understanding to Iran that would gradually reopen the Strait of Hormuz and lift the American blockade on Iranian ports, according to a person familiar with the measure. The move came after US President Donald Trump suspended a short-lived mission to offer safe passage for commercial ships through the waterway. Bloomberg’s Joumanna Bercetche reports.
