    hmmmm….
Based on maritime tracking reports from the last 24 hours (ending at 09:00 GMT today, April 17, 2026), 14 ships were identified as moving within the Strait of Hormuz.

Here is the specific list of those ships, their cargo types, and where they were heading:

    West-to-East (Leaving the Gulf)
Shalamar (Crude Oil Tanker) — Destination: Karachi, Pakistan — Status: In Transit (80% loaded)

MM Madrid (Container Ship) — Destination: Karachi, Pakistan — Status: In Transit

Shahin Salakh (Chemical/Oil Tanker) — Destination: Sohar, Oman — Status: In Transit

Ceci (Bulk Carrier) — Destination: Santos, Brazil — Status: In Transit

Basel (Bulk Carrier) — Destination: Santos, Brazil — Status: In Transit

    East-to-West (Entering the Gulf)
SDR Universe (Bulk Carrier) — Destination: Sharjah, UAE — Status: In Transit

Janki (Bulk Carrier) — Destination: Umm Qasr, Iraq — Status: In Transit

Kaiser (General Cargo) — Destination: Umm Qasr, Iraq — Status: In Transit

Max Star (LPG Tanker) — Destination: Sharjah, UAE — Status: U.S. Sanctioned / In Transit

Rajtilak (Bitumen Tanker) — Destination: Mina Saqr, UAE — Status: In Transit

Neshat (General Cargo) — Destination: Bandar Abbas, Iran — Status: U.S. Sanctioned / Anchored

Fujisei Maru No. (General Cargo) — Destination: Undefined — Status: Undefined Status

Sara (General Cargo) — Destination: Undefined — Status: Undefined Status

Pushpak (General Cargo) — Destination: Undefined — Status: In Transit

    Important Context on the “BS”
While these 14 ships are “moving,” the situation is far from normal:

The “Turn Backs”: CENTCOM reported that an additional 14 vessels (not on the list above) were forced to turn around by the U.S. Navy in the last 72 hours because they attempted to enter or exit Iranian ports in violation of the blockade.

Sanctioned Ships: Ships like the Neshat and Max Star are on the U.S. sanctions list. The Neshat is currently listed as “anchored,” likely because it cannot proceed toward its destination (Bandar Abbas, Iran) due to the U.S. blockade line.

The “First Out”: The Shalamar (Pakistani-flagged) is notable as the first loaded crude carrier to successfully exit the chokepoint since the U.S. blockade began earlier this week.

In short, “open” currently means “open for non-Iranian business,” provided you are willing to navigate a corridor designated by Iran while being watched by a U.S. carrier strike group.

    @John-zn4lp

It was open with the same deal that Obama had and Trump ripped up so he could say he made a deal and spend billions on war. WTF kind of logic is that?
