Two explosions struck a cargo vessel in the Gulf about 40 nautical miles southeast of Iraq’s Umm Qasr, one of which was caused by a drone strike, Iraqi officials said, with Iran later saying it was behind the attack.

All of you saying “explosion came from inside”, yes, but if the munition or projectile punctured the outer hull, of course it exploded inside. Use some basic critical thinking, please.

why would the explosion be within? that makes no sense. a torpedo pierced into the hull and exploded outwards.
