    Omg, this just happened on a huuuge construction project at work. I was curious about something, assumed it had to do with ada code, passed the query to the committee, who then told the contractor to pause and tried getting them to redo it differently even after the architect showed us the specs that were ada recommended that was in the plan. Now we can’t get them back and since it was railings, we can’t open the grounds to the public or for events.

    Contractor: yes, i will send you a document with the amendment design requests and new price/timeline. If you could sign it and send it back to me, I’ll be able to order the extra material

    Ultimately this is the contractor’s fault for not making sure they knew the cost and schedule impacts before finishing the walk through

    I know this was a year ago, but i don’t understand how people can be in love after just a few months! Myself I would need at least a year to know if i love someone, let alone say it. You don’t know ANYTHING about them in a few months time.
