Astronomers are just beginning to understand real-life shooting stars which are called hypervelocity stars. These stars zoom through the cosmos at millions of miles per hour.

I just had an epiphany, shamefully late, that if there is no preferencial reference frame in the universe, then there probably isn’t any velocity that makes sense to elect as velocity zero, and objects in the universe might have any velocities relative to eachother, as long as they’re less than the speed of light, so I asked ChatGPT and it mentioned hypervelocity stars, and that led me here

I guess we’re supposed to say WOW? ? ? So What (???), is one heading our way? The sling shot effect works off of planets and moons
even, WHY shouldn’t it work for Black Holes & Stars, anything with Mass? ? ?

Lets assume the universe isnt infinite and has an end. What happens when rogue stars and planets reach that so called end/edge of the universe? What about black holes? What interactions do the have? Do they bounce off or just stay right at the edge?
