Hubert sits down with Ashley to clear the air after his comments about Black women wearing wigs rubbed her the wrong way. While Hubert insists his preferences were never meant to be personal, Ashley questions the sincerity of his apology.

Everyone doesn’t like fake hair and shouldn’t be shamed for speaking up about it. Lots of men do not like women with fake hair, eye lashes, nails and prefer natural features of a woman and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I think the disconnect is coming from ppl that didn’t watch the social media show/clip that she’s referencing. He came off like a tool on there. He tried to shame a specific BW while saying his ‘preference’ of no weave/wig etc. He said to the woman & the host, that he ‘can see her braids up under her wig’. A totally unnecessary comment, MEANT TO EMBARRASS HER. The woman then took her own wig off & she had a low hair cut. No braids. So it was like… wtf are u lying? Oh.. to be purposefully mean & degrading on a show that cud be seen by millions. He made himself look like a fool tho. So that’s the clip that this young lady saw.

Having preferences is NEVER the problem. The problem is when u have to drag some1 else down, just to explain those preferences.

I think the show was PoptheBalloon. Shows like that are meant to be messy, but u still control wat u say & how u say it.

You have the right to like what you like. It is rude and a lack of common sense to openly shame another person for their style choices. This is called DECENCY.

@AceVenturaaaOh, that was him…? It was him! You know I had to go back and look at the clip, right. 🤣 Thanks for clarifying.

Ashley full of it because she sat there with him and accepted his reasoning & said that she received it but then went back once again & flipped it. Ugh!
