What is an extension beneath the toilet?
The whole system seems flawed to me. The bolts that hold the toilet to the floor are using a flexible piece of plastic as the anchor? That is a recipe for a toilet to rock. That is what I am experiencing right now, and I need to replace my toilet. Instead, should I get some lag bolts and screw them down through the subfloor of my offgrade house? That seems like it would be a much more stable way to anchor the toilet.

don’t caulk all around, just the front only
Wax goes on the toilet not the flange
Its amazing to me that the people doing this video’s don’t tell you to first find the rough-in size. Its probably THE most important thing to plan for when doing this
