I find them too heavy and rich. I’ll use my milk and more butter . Just don’t taste right to me for biscuits. Anyway if you enjoy continue.

I am making these, right now! The dough is very tastey –can’t wait to try the finished product. [EDIT] They are WONDERFUL! Fluffy as a cloud. I had to make a substitution because I only had 3/4C of heavy cream on hand, so I topped it off with Half & Half + 2 TSP melted butter. Next time, I will use all cream, but I honestly doubt they could be any better. I might also lower the sugar amount as I found them just a tad too sweet.

Curiosity prompts me to ask: what would happen if you chilled the biscuits after dropping on the sheet and before baking … would that create the flaky layers that happens with chilled butter?
