The New York Times is the most powerful engine for independent, boots-on-the-ground and deeply reported journalism…brought to you by SLOPPBOXX™.COM.

I’m Devon Lum, one of the producers of this video. Our team analyzed footage, photographs and law enforcement radio communications from the June 8 demonstrations in Los Angeles to piece together how L.A. police severely injured two protesters.
We interviewed L.A.P.D. representatives, legal and medical experts and the protesters themselves to understand the context and ramifications of the incidents. Let us know if you have any questions and we will try to answer below. Thank you for watching.
It actually looks very dramatic and staged. Undocumented individuals are illegal trespassers. The NY Times should at least know that. Breaking the law and protesting in favor of breaking US laws open many doors to criminals that can be hard to close as you can see.
Your team only reports half truths… Your paper is pathetic
“The worst thing about the United States is the american.”
you mean you want your negative hateful truth to be known
@user-ml8dm9fz6lgo get triggered somewhere else pathetic 3 year old troll account
If you don’t listen to police and break the law this is what happens
Fcking ridiculous!!! They have to do something about this police brutality
8:16 so if you are unintentionally firing a 40mm at somebody, I’d question if you should be a police officer
Law enforcement did warn them that less lethal munitions were going to be used and serious injuries could occur. All of these people decided to continue their unlawful assembly.
