It’s an open wheel car with a roll cage. Assessments of aesthetics are over. They’re all uglier than what has come before them.
Be careful with the new Indycar.
Hope they don’t make it too aerodynamically sensitive like f1 as the close racing will suffer. Also, not too many winglets and aero that can be damaged in racing incidents. The beauty of the current car is its resilience to damage. Indycar is such a competitive series which is its great strength.
It doesn’t sound any different to me. And they still sound like vacuum cleaners. Bring back V-8s, they already run sustainable fuel. There’s just no reason for all this nonsense.
