I once went to my dentist here in El Salvador and there was a picture of the brain waves of soldiers that were exposed to the impact of explosions, I was 17 at the time and I still can’t forget how horrified I was to learn that those soldiers and non-combatants suffering from psychological traumas and “phantom pain” many time times are due to those explosions. I wondered how can politicians be so cruel as to allow their compatriots to suffer this kind of long life torture. I ending up crying before my appointment.

This is eye-opening to me because I already knew about this stuff, but I was under the impression that only the blast wave from the bomb or explosion caused the injury if you were near the receiving end, but not close enough to get killed instantly. I didn’t realize that it was also happening to the soldiers that operated and launched this stuff. I don’t have military experience, so that’s probably why I have been ignorant about this up until now because I’ve never been in proximity to such weapons. Hopefully something better can be worked out with advances in technology to protect the soldiers.

Oh they know it’s happening… They just don’t care.

    Just like DuPont
    3M
    Sherwin Williams
and thousands more groups/companies that put their own wants/needs above the safety of citizens.
