The military decades ago should have overthrown this busybody, obese, federal government declare martial law for at least 10+ years to restore order, but we are a spoiled group of people we want freedom to be wild people

The NYT is shilling for terrorists again. Other than Russia & China, no state is responsible for murdering as many innocent civilians as the current Iranian regime. The difference is Iran and its allies actively target civilians, the USA & Israel do not.
The Council on Foreign Relations reported in January of 2017, “The 542 drone strikes that Obama authorized killed an estimated 3,797 people, including 324 civilians.” But back then, the NY Times was supporting Obama, so they never made a big deal about it. If you aren’t smart enough to see through the propaganda the senile Gray Lady spreads, then you are really the problem. “The only good is knowledge, the only evil is ignorance” – Socrates

I’d feel worse for the civilians if they hadn’t let a regime flourish in the country that threatens the peace of the entire world. In war people get killed. They have no proof that there weren’t military activities in the strike zones, which Islamist are famous for doing. Frankly, don’t care if the entire nation of Iran is made into a parking lot.

US supplied M30A1 GMLRS rockets equipped with tungsten fragmentation warheads were used by Ukraine in 2025. They turn any unarmored vehicle in a large area into Swiss cheese, not just damaged but beyond repair. If Iran or Hezbollah had anything like that you would see it in the aftermath of their launches on neighboring countries.
