Notice that she *didn’t* say that she would tell her younger self to run and not look back. Instead she chose to say that she wished she took receipts. This is not someone who has genuine remorse in her role in this weird lifestyle.
OR maybe things happen in your life for a reason? So many ppl who go through traumatic experiences say they wouldn’t change a thing because it lead them to who they are today. A stronger more resilient person who can overcome. Holly has done a ton of self reflection, especially when she wrote her book. She’s done a ton of interviews discussing her life at the playboy mansion. Of course there’s things in life we’re not proud of, but she wouldn’t be who she was today if she didn’t go through what she did.
Holly was always a pragmatic opportunist. Willing to bang the old man to make her way up the ranks, whatever it took. It’s funny how aging always awaken these righteous convictions.. lol

She sold herself to an old man because he was rich and (probably) in hopes of getting his estate. Instead she aged out and got replaced by a set of twins. Also didnt he leave ALLOT of his estate to one of the playmates from the 70’s??? I liked the show but they were sex workers. They weren’t in real relationships with Heff or each other so no “Thropple” or grouping. Instead they were tools used by an old pervert. Things to be discarded when he was finished with them.
She doesn’t necessarily look dead in the eyes. But if she feels dead in the eyes we can’t take away from her experience.
