It would be better is he spent his time actually doing his job. Perhaps he could come up with a plan to address service members’ mental health crises while on long term deployment, or how to ensure the supply chain is maintained in the face of wholly anticipated enemy action, or how to convince his boss that bankrupting the country is neither a good use of tax payers’ money nor something that will improve the country’s standing around the world. He should focus more on national security and less on plans to convert the country to a theocracy circa 1800.
Hegseth is a poser.
Trump still reigns over his party, which is no longer Republican. It’s MAGA. Republicans have all fallen in kine and will not oppose Trump. They may distance themselves, but they will never go against him out of fear. That is control.
He’s a heavy drinker. That will take a physical toll.
He doesn’t want women in the military because they can run and exercise circles around him.
His narrative that women are “too weak” for the military and that exercise is dumbed down for women and by women he meant HIMSELF.
