@sherisfree not just the HR Fandom, but I feel like people in the body positivity sphere are getting a little out of hand. Not just with this either , the past few years. Billie eilish, kit connor, currently Ariana grande, and now justice. As a plus size person, I understand the need of representation, but when the title ‘representation’ is being used in a harmful manner it’s never ok. People don’t seem to see how rude it is to say thing like, ” I hope he gains weight”. Its literally the same as telling someone to lose weight for a roll. Even tell someone to gain muscle for a roll is wrong. We saw what it did to kit Connor

We need to remember that Jacob’s first and foremost job is to give you the best chemistry between characters, because that is what sold you on the books in the first place,let alone the show. And I’m sure they had to look through hundreds of auditions. Do you realize how difficult it would be to find someone who has the best chemistry with their co star… And happend to also be plus sized?!? That’s not the right mindset. If he had that mindset, than I 100% believe it wouldn’t have delivered the same, because he would have been focused on the wrong thing. And Jacob knows this . He already expressed back in press for S1 he knows how crazy the fans are over these books and characters. Yet he still made this choice. To me ,that means, they’re chemistry had to have been insane. We just have to trust him, and frankly mind our own business.
