Tbf there are some shows I just don’t want to rewatch or watch in general, like I’m never rewatching GOT but I would like to rewatch the random scene here and there, and I know there are some shows I’ll never give a chance without seeing a clip, do you know how many movies I watch solely based on me watching 3 or 4 scenes in youtube shorts… like 5 most were dog shit but still I watched them
How much you wanna bet they’re gonna begin to aggressively DMCA shorts channels that upload clips from HBO shows after this
I can kinda get this like having the iconic moment shorts for when you just wanna see/show off that one joke or epic scene or specific actor etc and having an official source for it that won’t be taken down like fan made cuts can be isn’t a bad thing in itself
I have watched a few full movies that have been chopped up into shorts, but it takes a few months and you never get to see it in order. First few shorts you think you will like to watch it, but then it gets destroyed. So I have started to scroll past the shorts that I get if it is a popular movie that I would like to see. Last one is the Ryan gosling movie and I got spammed as hell. And I think the algorithm must misunderstand my behavior as fuck, I want to see the movie but not as shorts.. ATM I am not subscribed to any streaming services due to big dissatisfaction with them.. but I will watch it sometime somehow.
Tubi already has a similar feature, it works okay for movie recommendations
