First, a cabin on the shores of Lake Superior is home base for a couple that met while traveling the world. They nicknamed it “Agua Norte” to pay homage to their Brazilian roots and the cabin’s location in northern Minnesota. Next, a 10-year search leads a first-time cabin owner to an ideal, off-the-grid location close to where she grew up in New Hampshire. Together, she and her fiancé renovate the space in a minimalist style.
