His tears were as real as Donna Adelsons 🤦♀️ I can’t believe he got off..he was drunk..the kids were not of age to drink..it was a drinking party and he should have been tested..what a farse!
This opinion really bothers me
Lucy’s own parents were there on the sandbank. If they thought for one moment that the underage drinking was inappropriate they would have taken her onto their own boat to leave.
This is not a case of Puritan ideals (as many people in other countries do allow underage drinking around family members)
This is about the Law and only the Law.
He was not drunk and was not disobeying speed limits.
His own guilt and pain will follow him the rest of his days. That’s punishment enough.
At least the WORLD knows what Pino is. He was drinking disguised as a responsible adult but was drinking shirtless and trying to act like a teenager. Bet he couldn’t keep his eyes off those bikini young girls. He was irresponsible drinking, half operating the boat and obviously not watching out for obstructions in the waters. SHAME ON HIM! SHAME ON Pino.
Where is the crime?? I’m no lawyer lol, but it seems pretty clear that he and his wife made EXTREMELY poor and reckless choices that resulted in the death of a 17 year old and the profound and permanent injury of another teen. I agree with the State’s prosecutor – several really really bad decisions added up to catastrophe, that likely could have been mitigated had they used parental common sense. And for a guy who drives boats and belongs to a bougie boat club, it seems at best NOT plausible that alcohol didn’t cause him to hit the channel marker. Three feet by three feet. He was on the wrong side! 61 empties – they were skinny little teenage girls – they couldn’t have consumed that much. I’d say entitlement and money saved his butt. Heart breaks for the other families. He’s no Christian.
