The Doctor and Romana have arrived in E-space. Landing on a nearby planet, they discover that a mysterious mist is starting to appear. There they meet Adric amongst a race of people who are working towards making a large space ship flight ready. Events soon become suspicious when it appears that they’ve been working on perfecting this ship for generations.

1980 is a great year
I’d do the whole decade over. Most of the world was improving yearly and I miss the optimism as much as the freedom and economy. Thems wuz the days alright.
Adrics already an arrogant chauvinist back ln Alzarius damn. What kinda real bandit pins a girls arm behind her back when shes the only one in his bro’s lil gang, when it supposedly runs on consensus based decision making? He also claims he’s better than them bc or his literal math merit badge, but wante rwusl treatment! Ha! Thiughb you wouldn’t expect a bookworm to be sble to swim, its true.
Watch for the scene where Adric & Co get attacked in the lab and back right into a studio camera 😆

I love the music in Baker’s last season! And I think Baker’s run has some of the best “universe-building.” From the Key to Time series, to the E-space trilogy, to me the construction of lore was at its best. A whole lot of originality.
