The TARDIS loses its integrity and strands the Doctor, Tegan and Turlough in the far future on the remote planet of Frontios. There they find a small group of human survivors who have also crash landed. Can the Doctor repair the TARDIS whilst making sense of Turlough’s strange ramblings?

Teegan always dressed so sensibly.
Although this is not my favorite 5th Doctor story I do think this is the best performance of Peter Davidson as the Doctor. I know that might be a stretch to some but he has this mental breakdown sort of energy which I love.
Tegans outfit is the epitome of the 80’s. She looks like she just walked out of a Patrick Nagle art book.
I don’t know why people didn’t like Turlough, I did.
Doctor: I absolutely must not leave any trace on this civilization or the results could be catastrophic. Even mentioning my title could have ramifications beyond-
Humanity: *Breathes*
Doctor: All right, you’ve talked me into it.

I saw this when it was first broadcast. I’d forgotten the story. Glad to had watched it again after so many years.
Good episode I hadn’t seen in 30 odd years. It was well paced and the concept was creative. I esp liked how they didn’t spell out the Gravis real plans till midway through Pt 4. It kept them spooky and mysterious.
