    What a ridiculous story
Even in the 50’s I think the police would do a better investigation of a death in a car accident
And go to his own funeral and nobody sees him?! Absurd

What I OUGHT to be doing is getting some sleep, but what AM I doing? Watching these darned little mysteries from the 50s. It’s like eating peanuts!!

I LOVE this series! Edmund Lowe is a very good actor and was quite the fashion plate. He looks amazing considering that he started in movies early as 1915.

I love detective stories and enjoy Front Page Detective, but the shows are so full of plot holes it’s ridiculous.

Still good to watch in 2026 but I grew up with the huge age gap between leading men and the starlets. I guess that´s why I was always attracted to older men. Now older men for me are mostly dead.
