Trump sycophants really are in a cult trying to blame the inept response to COVID(which trump repeatedly stated was not real) on a Federal government health scientist. Who by the way was sidelined by Trump in July 2020, after he posted a warning that Americans need to prepare for a bad winter COVID surge. He was no longer allowed to attend White House briefings or speak to the media. So his involvement was DONE by the time things got really bad. Trump replaced him with Dr Birx, who herself was replaced a month later by Dr Scott Atlas after she also contradicted Trump’s narrative Covid was winding down. And by this time new cases were up to 72000 per day. In February trump said it was only 15 cases which would be down to zero in a couple of days. Internal memos you can all read show he was warned up to 2 million people would die… if he kept ignoring the coming pandemic. By the time Trump left office, over 100,000 Americans were dying per month. Over 430,000 died in his last 9 months, which was more than all the Americans killed in all the years of World War II.
Dr Fauci was not president!
It is the president’s responsibility to mobilize national resources to handle a national crisis!

Dr Fauci was fine and being praised by Trump ——- until Trump “big-time lied” to the American public claiming falsely that hydroxychloroquine was a CURE for the virus. Dr Fauci openly disagreed. And then went on TV interviews repeating that what Trump said was FALSE. ——— It was then that Trump pulled Fauci off the WH COVID Team and fired him. Then ordered him to no longer give interviews. Soon, Trump (and then FoxNews) was smearing him and blaming him for the virus. Fauci became Trump’s scapegoat. Look at the time-line yourself.

Trump was the reason why we had 1,000,000+ Americans dying of COVID. Not Fauci. It was Trump who was told the virus was both airborne AND deadly, but Trump told veteran reporter, Bob Woodward, that he would intentionally “downplay the virus” because it was an election year.
