John O’Keefe, a 16-year veteran of the Boston Police Department, died of blunt force trauma and hypothermia on January 29, 2022, after being found on a fellow Boston Police Officer’s front lawn during a blizzard. His girlfriend, Karen Read, is charged with allegedly backing into John with her SUV, and leaving him to die in the cold after a night of drinking. But her defense team poses a different theory – a massive cover-up spanning law enforcement agencies across Massachusetts. Karen’s first case ended in a mistrial on July 1, 2024. Her second trial is set to begin in April 2025.

@shawnawnigans Don’t have to, I live here and am a retired medic. If it’s about the Boston LEO, I figured it in 2 hours. I hope justice is served. That was NO mv hit, not a chance.
The thing that stands out the most for me in this case is the fact that all of these police officers and their friends and partners are driving drunk. I have worked with many officers. None of them drive drunk. They have seen so many horrific accidents. It says all we need to know about the character of these people to know they drove drunk when half of them were law enforcement. Trash.
I don’t know if you guys researched more outside of the documentary but Stephanie Soo and her research team did a deep dive of this case and have 4 episode and each episode is almost two hours long.
so actually I am CPR certified and the police are supposed to stay on the line with you until emergency ambulance services arrive I live in New England the police made a HUGE FUCK UP when they said call us back those mother fuckers should have stayed on the LINE
The officer on the phone can hear Karen screaming in the background but dirty Brian Albert could not hear her !! About 30 feet from his bedroom window? Both could have happened! She thought she left him at the waterfallIf she did back into him he hit his head on either the fire hydrant or the flag pole! Right about that time Brian Albert let his dog out to go to the bathroom if the dog either heard or saw John and got out of the backyard like it had before attacked John causing those wounds on his arm ! They knew with the history of the dog they would be facing a huge law suit! That is why they all say John did not come in the house!
The search on Jen’s phone is interesting because if my employer can track my keystrokes and what I type and when I did so by seconds they should be able to know when she exactly typed that question
How come you don’t talk about how much Karen had to drink and shouldn’t have been behind the wheel and had so much to drink that I wouldn’t be sure that she could say whether she did hit him
