I was in Thailand for the first time when I read the news..
I didn’t know what to think… so many emotions hit me at once.
Sorry to say, one of them was quite selfish.. which was – “…damn, I’m actually getting old and I’m going to start losing a lot of my musical heroes..”
.. and I have.. and it’s only getting worse!
My only dream is to one day give something back to music from all the joy it’s given me in my life. Even though times have changed so much. Nobody shares, consumes, finds, listens in the same way they used to..
I’m actually a music production teacher now and every kid is into something totally different! It’s actually cool and surprising that they’re not ALL into UK Drill or just rap… but I pride myself on being an obsessive musical nerd into as much of the old classics in every genre as finding new tracks and groups..
