In an extended interview with 60 Minutes correspondent Norah O’Donnell, Bravo, an Air Force colonel, provided new details about his fight to survive behind enemy lines in Iran, and the rescue operation that brought him and crewmate Alpha back home.

And now I am left thinking American literally has excellent, exceptional, thoughtfull, dedicated and courageous individuals in spades. We see them everyday around us, next to us, as I am sure was the case prior to the events that presented Alpha and Bravo and all those involved in this rescue their moment to shine as they did. So how is it possible that with all this increadible and vast human resource we get what we have in our political life. To be perfectly clear I am asking myself how do we have put before us a choice to vote between, dumb and dumber??? Really?
