Damn Harrison, you’re always on vacation. Where did you go this time? First the mountains now what the beach? 😂
The Josh Patrick argument shouldn’t really be an argument. Josh has had better regular season stats than Patrick the last few year, this is absolutely true. But Mahomes has the success, the over all wins, he has had the stats in years prior, and one other thing no one has really even talked about: Partick has never been THE reason the Cheifs have lost a big game.
Sure he’s had a couple games where he didnt play great, the last SB vs the Eagles as an example. But, I’d challenge any QB to play well when the line is getting torched 60% of the time by a 4 man rush, and everyone else is dropped back into coverage. Which is THE reason the Chiefs got ran over (same reason they got ran over by the Buccs).
Josh has been the problem a few times before. Most notably this last season.
Mahomes stats will bouce back as soon as the Chiefs get him ANY offensive help. Stats are fixable. But the clutch gene, sometimes that is not teachable, sometimes you either have it or you don’t.
Not to makes this a pile on Josh post. He’s the clear No. 2. If i had to build a team and couldn’t have Mahomes I’d take Allen no contest, and the gap between him and No. 3 is BIG.
