This year’s midterms will not only shape the final two years of Donald Trump’s presidency; they’ll determine what politics after Trump might start to look like. The series of races that started with primaries on March 3 will either preserve Republican majorities in Congress, helping Trump to push through his agenda, or give Democrats control of either the US House or Senate and the ability to stop his legislative priorities and open investigations into him.

CNN’s Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten examines what prediction markets are forecasting for a Wisconsin Supreme Court race and a North Carolina Senate seat.

0:00 Democrats’ chances of flipping a senate seat increase in NC
2:59 How likely is a liberal judge to win a seat held by a conservative in WI?
6:24 What is Democrats’ net favorability 8 months from the midterms?

War usually boosts presidents. Why isn’t it helping Trump?: https://youtu.be/VMdd20SABuY

Shame on you Harry shame on you John you just scared the crap out of me! The Supreme Court race was last month and you had me thinking we had a 2nd one and I needed to literally drive out to City Hall right now to go vote!

PS for those wondering Chris Taylor won 60% to 40%. By our states Supreme Court standards that is a blowout.

The Trump administration clearly doesn’t care about YOU nor the appropriate use of YOUR tax dollars. Spending $1 billion on a lavish ball room and $25 billion on an unjustified war against Iran while many americans are under increasing financial pressure is simply despicable.

What is wrong with you? This is the third time I heard you say Democrats when you should’ve said Republicans. I never said anything in the past but this time I have to throw it out there. This is the third time at 1:48 you said Democrats instead of Republicans. Trump is not dragging down the Democrats. You need to quit this line of work and go work at a ice cream parlor

The people of the free world that trump has attacked verbally and physically. We theses have to ask the International Criminal Court to intervene.
trump started a unsanctioned war. Not cleared by congress. And because of that there were 168 innocent people killed. Including 100+ innocent little girls. In a war. They are forbidden to go after civilian targets. As homes, hospitals AND SCHOOLS. trumps orders defied that. That makes it a WAR CRIME. AND BECAUSE OF THAT. IT MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR THE International Criminal Court to intervene.
    And I don’t think trump’s scotus justices can stop it! SO PLEASE, IN GOD’S NAME ! MAKE IT SO! ! ! …Please Share. ! ! !

America is tired of the corruption they’ll do anything to get away from it even if it means voting for the other party

Awww…. Rely on the polls…. The same ones that had Clinton win in 98%! And Harris winning as well…. Polls mean absolutely nothing. MAGA will win the mid-terms and Trump will finish making America great again. Still not sure why liberals hate America and want us to fail…. Please go back under your rock….

Democrats who are unhappy that their congressional leadership isn’t doing more to counter Trump are holding down party favorability. I don’t think that’s a good sign for GOP chances in November.
